Valarie Campbell-Clark
Valarie was born and raised in Kentucky. She has a zeal and enthusiasm for serving others. This “heart for service” was the impetus behind the decision to pursue her teaching profession and becoming a member of a non- profit organization. She is the loving mother to Aaron and proud grandmother to Brogan.
Valerie has a master’s degree in Elementary Education from Howard University in Washington, DC, and currently, serves as an elementary teacher in the Chapel Hill Carrboro City School System. She is an advisor to the Chapel Hill-Carrboro NAACP Youth Council.
Prior to her teaching career, Valerie served as a Clinical Business Coordinator in the UNC Healthcare System and in other capacities throughout UNC Hospitals. Her service pursuits have been but are not limited to; Teacher in the Washington, DC Public Schools, Prince Georges’ County Public Schools (PGCPS) in Maryland, Tutor at Nia Organization for foster children in Washington, DC, and a Secretary for Youth Christian Fellowship; Chapel Hill, N.C.
Her hobbies are reading, journaling, playing tennis, listening to all genres of music, and as of late, playing the keyboard.
