Dianne Jackson

A retiree of the Chapel Hill-Carrboro City Schools district, Dianne continues to connect to the community through her commitment to public service. She serves as a trustee to the Chapel Hill-Carrboro NAACP, and as a member of their Education Committee. Dianne is a member of Campaign for Racial Equity in our Schools and chairs two workgroup committees within that organization. Her love of and commitment to youth is also reflected through her service. She has served as a volunteer at UNC-Chapel Hill, tutors at Pittsboro Elementary School, and is a mentor of the Chapel Hill-Carrboro Blue Ribbon Mentor Advocacy Program. Dianne currently serves as president of the Hannah Ruth Foundation.
