Hannah Ruth Foundation

Anissa McLendon is a Chapel Hill Native that was educated by the way of Chapel Hill-Carrboro City Schools and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She has worked 20 years for the Chapel Hill-Carrboro City Schools and is currently employed as a 1st grade Dual Language Teacher Assistant at Glenwood Magnet Elementary School. 

She spends a lot of her time volunteering back to the community: Chapel Hill-Carrboro Hunger Cropwalk (Treasurer for the last 3 years), Saint Paul Village Community Walk & 5K Run ( Co-Chair and Treasurer for 10 years), and Empowering Excellence thru Exploration (E3 Camp) - Founder of this non-profit organization for 4 years.
